If the interference is small, installation can be carried out at room temperature. Use a sleeve to press the end face and use a hammer to tap the sleeve to smoothly and evenly press the collar in. Large scale installation can also be carried out using hydraulic presses. During this process, it is necessary to ensure that the collar is tightly pressed against the shoulder end face of the shell, without any gap.

If the interference is large, the installation of the bearing can be carried out using oil bath or sensor heating methods, and the temperature range needs to be controlled between 80 ℃ and 100 ℃. At the same time, during this process, it is necessary to tighten the bearings with nuts or other methods to prevent the width of the bearings from shrinking after cooling, resulting in a gap between the collar and the shaft shoulder.
